Cross cultural
understanding simply refers to the basic ability of people within business to
recognize, interpret and correctly react to people, incidences or situations
that are open to misunderstanding due to cultural differences. Hence, Multiculturalism
and language education are closely interconnected, and both are essential in
promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational settings.
Multiculturalism refers to the recognition, appreciation, and celebration of
different cultures, ethnicities, and identities within a society. Language
education, on the other hand, involves teaching and learning languages in ways
that are inclusive and respectful of cultural differences. The intersection of
